IThere are moments we ache to keep — a tilt of the head, a look between siblings, the way love lingers in the room. A commissioned work isn’t just a picture. It’s a way of honoring those moments, giving them weight, color, and breath.

My portraits live in that quiet space where intimacy, myth, and memory meet. We’ll begin with a conversation, not a transaction. Together, we’ll shape something that feels true — a piece that holds the story long after the moment has passed.

The Brothers, a watercolor study

Two brothers — different as night and day — sat shoulder to shoulder for this portrait. For them, it was a small act of boyhood torture. For me, it became a quiet glimpse of their wild tenderness, held together in a single frame. This was just a study for the painting but the parents loved it and purchased it as well. It became a beautiful companion piece with the oil portrait.
